"I feel Steven and I have a special relationship as we’ve been through big milestones in our lives together. He’s made / kept me fit through a wedding and 2 babies, and we’ve become friends along the way. Our weekly sessions are not only a great workout, but also a catch-up with a friend I look forward to.

 

Steven started training me in a bit of a last minute panic a couple of months before my wedding. It had been a crazy year at work and I’d come out of my fitness routine right at the wrong time !

We trained hard (like... hard!), and I felt so much better in my body for the big day.

I quickly realised when you start training with a PT (or at least my PT!) you really can’t go back to training on your own ... I just can’t push myself that hard, and I get bored.

But more than that, I’ve felt so safe and confident training with Steven through the massive physical changes that occur in pregnancy and post natal.

With Steven’s support and coaching, I stayed super fit in both my pregnancies, adjusting sessions to my needs and constraints every week.

I’m starting postnatal recovery now for the second time and it’s so great to know I’m in good hands and I’ll get back to my happy healthy fitness level. I think both kids and hubby would thank Steven too for helping me keep my balance and feel good in my body (= in my mind too!).

"I have been training with Steven for over two years and I definitely got stronger! Every week I get a new challenge and we build up from there. As now we do this from home I need to regularly buy more weights as we outdo them! In our training sessions he never forgets a back exercise because in the past I had back pain as for work I tend to sit down in front of a computer for most of the day.  

 

I have two sessions a week one about  strength and one about high intensity and that adds further variety to our training routine.

 

I highly recommend training with Steven as he pushes but never at the point you could get injured which is a delicate balance when you do train with weights."

"I have always been sporty and active; however, after I had a planned caesarean, I was keen to get back into shape. I did not need to loose weight, but rather rebuild my abdominals after the surgery and also was keen to build muscle mass and tone certain parts of my body. I shared with Steven my goals and Instagram photos and he designed a bespoke programme meant to help me get into shape and realise my objectives. I was sometimes keen to accelerate and increase weights, etc. but Steven stopped me and ensured that I followed an exercise plan where I really got into shape at the right pace and did not get ahead of myself and injure myself.

 

As we had to shield during lockdown, I continued to train with Steven and the efficacy of his training or ability to monitor me and guide me was not affected by lockdown. We continued the workout routine via zoom and it worked perfectly. In the middle of lockdown, I suffered a domestic accident and I had to have surgery on my foot. As I was able to exercise other parts of my body, Steven modified my exercise my routine to ensure I could keep working out without compromising my operated foot.

 

I have fully recovered and train twice a week with Steven (one only glutes and one full body) and highly recommend him. Steven is kind, honest and professional. He is respectful and very knowledgeable about the body, exercise and particularly post-natal or post caesarean exercise. Also, when I have asked for “homework” or additional exercises to do when I don’t train with him, he very generously sends them free of charge. He will work with you to achieve the goals YOU want and if you want him to push you as I do, he will. Steven is the best and I totally recommend him!"
